The principal of Leading Edge Aviation Consulting is Mr. Michael Slattery. Mr. Slattery has extensive experience in the fields of business development, program management, aircraft modification and product engineering and airworthiness certification.   Background Mr. Slattery has over 40 years experience in the aerospace and aviation industry.  He was the president of United Rotorcraft for 6 years providing special mission equipment solutions for a variety of rotorwing applications and customers.  He worked for 18 years at Air Methods Corporation, the largest helicopter EMS transport company in the world, holding numerous positions including Director of Program Management, Director of Marketing, and Manager of Engineering and Certification. Mr. Slattery has worked on commercial and military projects for domestic and international customers on fixed wing and rotor wing aircraft. He also worked for Garrett Turbine Engine Division as a Reliability Engineer and for Hughes Missile Systems Group as a Project Engineer. Education M.S.
